Far from the seasons and the frenetic calendars of fashion, GIL ET MOI focuses on attitude, on the luxury of being oneself.

This project was created by me, Marta Scupelli, a designer with a passion for gilet and illustrations. Welcome to my world, made of details, passion, and irony.

I've always had several gilets in my closet, ready to use for any occasion to give a twist to my outfit. They made me feel confident and comfortable and I really wanted this feeling to be experienced by other women too.

It's how GIL ET MOI started its journey, a line of gilets made up of unique pieces and limited editions, timeless garments designed in a modern key to a naturally sophisticated style. Transversal in their use, they come to life embellished with silks printed with unique and original patterns that refer to distant and fantastic worlds. I decided to draw them by myself to offer an even more exclusive and personal product, printed only in small quantities. If you look carefully then you will find a small and discreet signature, I always hide it in the drawing to guarantee its originality.

At first, the collections were built around a single item, now the brand is gradually expanding with other proposals, opening to new adventure always in respect to his own spirit.

I design each style and then I entrust it exclusively to the expert hands of Italian craftsmen, to obtain impeccable products and support this fine art that stands out in the world. Every detail is made according to the Made in Italy tradition so that wearing a GIL ET MOI garment becomes a true experience, an exaltation of one's being.

I strive to go further and further towards sustainable and aware standards. I devote a lot of time to the selection of high-quality fabrics and accessories to ensure aware and refined products. Making small quantities guarantees control on the production chain and limits waste, and also, our price tags are made with paper made from the recycling of old cotton t-shirts.

If at this point you're wondering who Gil is ... it's the other part of me. GIL ET MOI embodies my two souls: fashion designer and illustrator, rational and dreamer.
